Discord is one of the largest and fastest growing social chat platforms in the world. Discord retained Fusion Studios to embed deeply within their Trust and Safety team, specifically within the Minor Safety and Exlploitative Content (MSEC) team. We holistically analyzed their operational and safety protocols, met with leadership and individual contributors, and identified gaps in processes. We worked with Discord to operationalize existing manual safety procedures, improve internal operations, streamline internal and external reporting, and ensure that their platform was better positioned to respond to growing user needs and the changing global regulatory environment.
